Calligraphic Books

The most challenging thing about this book was using every piece of the 7 foot long butcher paper that I painted. I decided that the best way to use every piece was to make the books extremely decorative with small details that are unique to each book. I also built the box to not only house the books but also to help use up more of the paper

The books were hand built including and the paper used was hand painted as a two tone paper with one side green and the other side pink. The main theme of each book was the wrap around strap that encloses each book and the similar strip pattern.
